Aurora Catá joined Seeliger y Conde in 2008 as the Partner responsible for the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) and Pharmaceutical sector practices.
She began her professional career in the financial sector, first at Bank of America and then as Financial Director at Nissan Motor Ibérica until 1996, when she took on the General Management of RTVE in Catalonia. After that, she held the position of CEO of Planeta 2010 and was General Director of Recoletos Grupo de Comunicación from 2003 until the purchase of Recoletos by RCS, when she became the General Manager of the Editorial Unit of Sociedad de Revistas and the Development Area of Grupo RCS in LATAM.
She has been and is currently also a member of various boards of directors, many of them from companies linked to the telecommunications and audiovisual sectors. She has belonged to the executive committee of various institutions in the economic and social fields, IESE and Círculo de Economía, among others. She is currently an Independent Director of Atresmedia and Banco Sabadell.
Aurora Catá is an Industrial Engineer and has an MBA from IESE.
